Nicole Wallace Stars in New Motorsport Romance

Nicole Wallace is set to star as the female lead in the upcoming film 'Throttled,' an adaptation of Lauren Asher's novel from the 'Dirty Air' series. Wallace will portray Maya Alatorre, a determined young woman who enters the racing world and becomes entangled in a passionate, forbidden romance with Noah Slade, her brother's fiercest competitor, played by Josh Heuston.

Directed by Nzingha Stewart, the film is based on Asher's 2020 novel, the first in a four-part sports romance series. This project continues Amazon MGM's strategy of adapting popular books, following successes like 'Off Campus' and 'The Love Hypothesis.' The production is helmed by producers from Brownstone Productions and Ethea Entertainment.

Wallace expressed her excitement to embody Maya, highlighting the character's ambition and the challenges she faces as a woman in the male-dominated racing industry. The film aims to capture the adrenaline and intensity of the motorsport world, combined with a compelling romantic storyline.
