NewJeans is marking their fourth anniversary with the release of '2026 Summer of NewJeans,' a special film series dedicated to their fans. The project reunites the four members: Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein, showcasing individual films and a group film that evokes the group's signature visual style. This release comes after nearly two years of speculation about the group's future and follows Minji's recent confirmation to return.
The anniversary films were created from the members' shared desire to celebrate with their fandom, Bunnies. ADOR stated the series is a heartfelt gift, incorporating motifs like white fur and delicate animals as subtle acknowledgments to their supporters. The reunion signifies a new chapter for the popular K-pop group, which has achieved significant success, including multiple Billboard Hot 100 entries and a Billboard 200 No. 1 album.
