The spending spree by Row K, which was launched in August 2025 by entertainment investment firm Media Capital Technologies, has drawn significant attention in the industry. Led by former Paramount and IMAX executives, the company is positioning itself to fill the void between big-budget studio releases and more niche independent films, focusing on "wide release, star-driven and prestige filmmaker-driven movies with global appeal."
