Oren Peli, the visionary behind the original 2007 found-footage sensation, will produce through his Solana Films. The original film, made for a mere $15,000, achieved remarkable success, grossing $194.2 million and launching Blumhouse into prominence. Both Wan and Blum expressed excitement about expanding the legacy of the series, with Blum noting the significant budget increase from the original's $15,000.
