Netflix Flick: Kidnapped Son, Moral Maze

Netflix is debuting a trio of compelling films this weekend. Ben Affleck stars in and directs 'Animals,' a tense thriller where a mayoral candidate's race is overshadowed by his son's kidnapping. The film explores the profound moral choices a father must make under extreme pressure, reminiscent of classic cinematic dilemmas.

Horror enthusiasts can dive into 'The Boogeyman,' a chilling adaptation of Stephen King's short story. This film focuses on two sisters confronting a terrifying supernatural entity within their home, creating a palpable sense of dread. The narrative effectively captures the fear and mystery surrounding the presence.

Rounding out the new releases is the 1979 film 'Dracula.' This adaptation reimagines the iconic vampire as a more romantic figure, set against a backdrop that distinctly evokes the late 1970s, offering a unique, disco-infused interpretation of the classic Gothic tale.
