The 512-page edition is bound in leather and boasts 10 new illustrations by artist David Hughes. It retains the original introduction penned by Irvine Welsh and the afterword by Easton Ellis himself. The presentation box includes a replica of Patrick Bateman's business card, complete with authentic styling and errors.
Described as one of literature's great modern satires, "American Psycho" now sits alongside other iconic works on The Folio Society's list. The society's head of editorial, James Rose, noted that David Hughes's illustrations powerfully convey the novel's moral horror and the satirical derision of late 20th-century American capitalism.
