This announcement arrives during a busy period for Hulu's animation division. The platform recently acquired the adult animated comedy "Deano" and is developing "Swap Meet," another animated comedy project. These additions signal Hulu's growing investment in animated content for various demographics.
The creative team behind "The Kids from S.I.P.P.Y." boasts significant animation experience. Reese, an LA-based writer, actor, and cartoonist, has previously worked on projects like "Swan Boy" and voiced characters in PBS Kids' "City Island" and Netflix's "Strip Law." Silverberg, an Emmy-nominated writer and comedian, has a notable history with animated comedies, including "Bad Crimes" for Netflix.
