Jamie Kang is set to write and executive produce the adaptation through her production company, Kang & Co Entertainment. Mandy Safavi, Kang's producing partner, also serves as an executive producer, alongside author Jo Spain. This project falls under Kang's multi-year overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
