Netflix is expanding its adult animation offerings with "Grim," a new series developed by Al Gough and Miles Millar, the creative minds behind the streamer's hit "Wednesday." This project adapts Boom! Studios' celebrated horror-fantasy comic book series.
The character-driven saga centers on Jessica Harrow, a newly initiated Reaper tasked with escorting souls to the afterlife. However, Jessica has no recollection of her death or her life before becoming a Reaper. Her pursuit of these lost memories propels her into the intricate, unseen mechanisms of the afterlife.
As Jessica delves deeper, she uncovers cosmic secrets and hidden forces, ultimately revealing a shocking personal link to Death itself. Gough and Millar are executive producing alongside Jennifer Yuh Nelson, known for her work on "Love, Death + Robots."
