Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, a Netflix miniseries, centers on an engaged couple, Rachel and Nicky, whose wedding plans are dramatically interrupted by a dire family curse.
Rachel discovers her family's curse dictates she must marry her soulmate by sundown on her wedding day. Failure to do so means her death. If Nicky is indeed her true love, she lives; however, if she refuses to proceed with the marriage, she perishes, and the curse passes to Nicky and his lineage.
