Netflix's New Family Drama Promises Laughter & Chaos

Netflix is set to release its new family drama, 'Chumbak', on August 28. This multi-generational comedy is described as a feel-good series set in a contemporary urban Indian neighborhood, where everyday life is filled with humor and close-knit relationships.

The show celebrates the unique dynamics of neighborhoods where neighbors naturally become like family. It promises to deliver the warmth and wit that audiences have come to expect from its creators, known for beloved shows like 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' and 'Khichdi'.

Expected to bring families together for shared laughter across generations, 'Chumbak' features a notable cast including Neena Gupta, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, and Sumeet Vyas. Netflix anticipates this series will resonate with viewers globally.

Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, highlighted 'Chumbak' as a significant comedy offering. She noted how the show captures the essence of neighbors evolving into extended family, exploring themes of modern marriages, parenting, and community life with familiar charm and humor.
