Netflix's VFX Powerhouse Lands in Hyderabad

Eyeline Studios, Netflix's primary visual effects arm, has inaugurated a sprawling 32,000 sq ft facility in Hyderabad. This new center is dedicated to pioneering advancements in visual effects, virtual production, and next-generation production technologies.
The launch event featured prominent figures, including the Chief Minister of Telangana and the Secretary of Information & Broadcasting. Eyeline, which merged with Scanline VFX last October, now has five studios worldwide, including locations in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seoul, and London.
Netflix's CEO, Jeff Shapiro, highlighted India's crucial role in global VFX due to its creative and technical talent. He emphasized Hyderabad's strong technology infrastructure and film culture as key factors in establishing this new hub. Actor and producer Daggubati noted Hyderabad's significant progress in becoming a creative future hub over the past two decades.
This strategic move by Netflix further solidifies its growing footprint in the Indian market, building on the success of popular titles such as Rana Naidu and Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
