Jeff Gaspin, the vice president of unscripted series at Netflix, will be stepping down from his executive position on July 1. After roughly two and a half years with the streaming giant, Gaspin is transitioning to a hands-on producing role.
His new responsibilities will include work on upcoming series such as Monopoly and Physical 100: USA. He will also continue his involvement with the dating show Age of Attraction, which he developed, and live events, including the Actor Awards.
Gaspin joined Netflix in February 2024 and played a key role in the unscripted division's expansion. Under his leadership, Netflix launched numerous unscripted shows, docuseries, and true-crime programs during his tenure. The decision for Gaspin to move into production was reportedly a mutual one with Brandon Riegg, VP of Nonfiction Series and Sports.
