Netflix Star Dumps 33-Year Older Partner After Show

Reality television personality Vanelle Fenmou has announced she will no longer pursue relationships with older men. Fenmou, a project manager from Dallas, exited the Netflix dating series 'Age of Attraction' after her partner, Jorge Sanchez, was revealed to be in his 60s, a difference of 33 years.

Fenmou, who was 27 during filming, explained that she found it challenging to grow and build a life with someone significantly older. She stated that older partners often have deeply ingrained perspectives that can overshadow younger partners' experiences, making true partnership difficult.

She expressed a desire for a partner closer to her age, with whom she can share mutual growth, learning, and a true partnership. Fenmou’s decision stems from her experience on the show, where participants discover their partners' ages only after committing to live together.

Fenmou also addressed criticism from the Christian community regarding her intimate moments on the show, which contradicted her initial stance on celibacy. She acknowledged falling into temptation but stated her faith remains paramount and that she has since processed the experience.

Another contestant, John Merrill, also saw his relationship on the show end due to a significant age gap. Merrill, also 27, dated Theresa DeMaria, 54, and they have since separated.
