Netflix Adds Podcasts: Where's the Data?
16 Jul
Summary
- Netflix integrated over 50 podcasts since January.
- Podcasts were absent from Netflix's recent engagement report.
- Viewership data for podcasts has not been released by Netflix.

Since January of 2026, Netflix has onboarded more than 50 podcasts to its platform. These additions were facilitated through significant partnership agreements with prominent entities such as Spotify, The Ringer, iHeartMedia, and Barstool Sports.
Popular video podcasts, including 'The Bill Simmons Podcast,' 'The Breakfast Club,' and 'Pardon My Take,' were made available on the streaming service. However, Netflix's recently released Engagement Report for the first half of 2026 conspicuously lacked any data pertaining to podcast viewership.
While many of these podcasts remain accessible on alternative platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, some feature exclusive video content deals with Netflix. The streamer has not yet provided any official viewership figures for its podcast offerings, and did not respond to requests for comment.
