Secret Netflix Filming Hits Prince Edward Island

Though Netflix and the production team are keeping details under wraps, evidence of filming is apparent across the island. Film trucks and trailers have been spotted at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, and crews were seen setting up at the airport.
Public access to local attractions has been impacted by the production. The beach in North Rustico was scheduled for closure on Wednesday, and Basin Head Provincial Park was also closed on Thursday. The province has invested $5 million in the project through a rebate. Filming will also take place in Toronto, with the series starring Sophie Nélisse, Francesca Reale, and Roby Attal.
