Netflix has seen another film executive depart as part of ongoing workforce reductions. Sheroum Kim, who joined the streaming giant in January 2019 as Director of Independent Films, has been affected by the recent layoffs.

Prior to her role at Netflix, Kim held positions at STX, where she served as VP Development and later SVP Production. Her work at STX included involvement in films such as 'The Edge of Seventeen' and 'I Feel Pretty.' She also developed and executive produced 'American Sniper' while at 22 & Indiana Pictures, having previously started her career at Warner Bros and WME.
