In a major music comeback, the indie rock band The Neighbourhood is preparing to release their first studio album in 5 years. Titled (((((ultraSOUND))))), the new record is scheduled to drop on Nov. 14 via Warner Records, marking the group's first full-length LP since their 2020 hiatus.
The announcement comes after The Neighbourhood revealed in August 2025 that they had reunited the previous November, following a 3-year break. The band, which originally formed in 2011, cited personal challenges and life changes as the reasons for their temporary split. However, they have now regrouped and are ready to share their new music with fans.
Ahead of the album release, The Neighbourhood has already shared three tracks: "Private," "OMG," and "Lovebomb." The songs showcase the band's signature California indie sound, while also drawing inspiration from Brit-pop. Lyrically, the album is described as "intimate and self-aware," exploring themes of heartbreak and emotional vulnerability.
