Neetu Kapoor, mother of actor Ranbir Kapoor, previously detailed the qualities she hoped for in her son's future spouse. Appearing on 'Simi Selects India's Most Desirable', Neetu conveyed her desire for Ranbir to find a partner who would preserve family harmony.

She articulated this preference through a video message, employing the metaphor of a needle and scissors. Neetu explained that she sought a partner who, like a needle, would help mend and keep the family together, rather than someone like scissors who might cause division.
