Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently shared a memorable incident from his time at the National School of Drama during Holi celebrations. He described how a potent batch of thandai, a traditional Holi drink, once induced a surreal experience.

Siddiqui vividly recalled drinking the thandai until he felt its effects. He then believed he had become Ashwatthama, a character from mythology, complete with a bow and arrow. For approximately five hours, he engaged in acts of climbing trees and jumping on walls.

The effects lingered for hours, with Siddiqui developing a peculiar belief. He thought that stepping outside a circle he had drawn would negatively impact his future in cinema, adding a strange layer to the already bizarre experience.

Professionally, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is preparing for his role in the highly anticipated sequel 'Tumbbad 2'. The film, which will see Sohum Shah also return, is scheduled to release in theaters on December 3, 2027. A tagline hints at an apocalyptic theme, stating, 'Pralay aayega' (Apocalypse will arrive).
