Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Heartbreaking Premiere Moment: From Despair to Triumph

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, one of the most acclaimed actors in Indian cinema, has built his legacy through years of struggle. In a recent interview, he shared a heartbreaking story from the premiere of Kamal Haasan's 'Hey Ram' years ago.

At the time, Nawazuddin was excited to see himself on the big screen and had invited 5-6 of his friends to the premiere. However, just before the film began, Kamal Haasan approached him with the devastating news that his role had been cut. Nawazuddin was devastated and broke down in front of his friends, but Kamal Haasan's daughter, Shruti Haasan, kindly consoled him.

Years later, when Kapil Sharma asked Kamal Haasan about the incident, the veteran star expressed admiration for Nawazuddin's talent and empathy for his early struggles. Kamal Haasan said, "He was a fantastic actor even then, and the footage cut was not due to his performance."
