Narnia Soundtrack: Wyatt Promises Fan Satisfaction

Musician Andrew Wyatt has revealed his involvement in the musical score for Greta Gerwig's forthcoming adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia, a project he is co-writing with Mark Ronson. Wyatt, known for his work on Lady Gaga's "Shallow" and several songs for the Barbie movie, shared his enthusiasm for the Narnia project during a recent event. He expressed confidence that the soundtrack will meet audience expectations, stating that many people will be happy with the result.

Wyatt shared his personal connection to the Narnia series, mentioning he read "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" to his first-grade class. He acknowledged that Gerwig's interpretation will be unique, reflecting her distinct approach. The songwriting process for the Narnia film is in its early stages, with Wyatt and Ronson anticipating an eight to nine-month commitment to the project.

In related work, Wyatt recently collaborated with Ronson and Miley Cyrus on the song "Dream As One" for the latest Avatar movie. He spoke about his established working relationship with Cyrus, noting their successful collaborations since 2017. Wyatt detailed the collaborative process for the Avatar song, emphasizing the joint effort in refining melodies and lyrics while ensuring the track met multiple criteria for the film and as a standalone song.
