The 31st annual Nantucket Film Festival has announced its full lineup, with Olivia Wilde's 'The Invite' set to open the event. This film, starring Wilde, Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, was acquired by A24 following its Sundance premiere.
The festival will conclude with an advance screening of Peacock's upcoming limited series, 'The Five Star Weekend.' Based on Elin Hilderbrand's novel, the series features Jennifer Garner, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, and honoree Chloë Sevigny. It is scheduled to debut on Peacock on July 16 and was filmed locally on Nantucket.
This year's honorees include writer-director Paul Feig, receiving the screenwriters tribute. Chloë Sevigny will be presented with the Compass Rose Award for Career Achievement. Additionally, Rashida Jones and Will McCormack will be recognized with the special achievement in screenwriting award for their work, which includes 'The Invite' and 'Toy Story 4'.
