The upcoming film 'The Paradise,' starring Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, has received an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This follows their previous collaboration on 'Dasara.' The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on September 24, 2026.
The CBFC mandated several cuts, including modifying visuals of a crow on the National Flag and a pregnant woman scene. Portions featuring a foul word, a tattoo with a foul word, and the phrase 'denotified tribe' were also addressed. Ten violent scenes depicting torture and blood spills were removed, and durations of stabbing visuals were reduced.
Further modifications included muting or altering words related to armed struggle and censoring references to a real-life assassination and a cigarette brand. After these changes, the film, with a runtime of 173.04 minutes (2 hours, 53 minutes, 4 seconds), was passed by the CBFC on September 21, 2026.
The makers announced the certification on social media, stating, "While the emotion of the film is for everyone... JADAL's rawness is strictly for the adults." 'The Paradise' will be released in eight languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam.
