Nana Visitor's Dream Star Trek Crossover Unlikely

Nana Visitor, known for her role as Major Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, recently shared her ideal crossover scenario within the Star Trek universe. Visitor expressed a strong desire to work alongside Kate Mulgrew, who portrayed Captain Kathryn Janeway. She envisioned a dynamic and potentially tumultuous interaction between Janeway and Avery Brooks' Captain Benjamin Sisko, highlighting the clash of two alpha personalities.

Visitor speculated that such a confrontation would create significant dramatic sparks within the narrative. However, the practical realization of this particular crossover appears unlikely. The closest opportunity for a Mulgrew-Visitor interaction, or a Sisko-Janeway meeting, was during the pilot of Star Trek: Voyager. While part of that episode was set on Deep Space Nine, only Armin Shimerman's Quark made an appearance from the DS9 cast.
