Nagpur is set to welcome a new hub for artistic expression with the grand opening of the Kavi Suresh Bhat Convention Centre Art Gallery and Exhibition Centre on July 25. This state-of-the-art facility in Reshimbagh will be inaugurated by Mayor Nita Thakre and Municipal Commissioner Vipin Itankar.
The inaugural event, 'Rangmegh,' is a six-day exhibition running from July 25 to July 30, presenting works by 16 local artists. This exhibition aims to highlight Nagpur's diverse contemporary art landscape.
The expansive 12,500 sq ft venue is designed for versatility, featuring four air-conditioned halls that can be combined for large events. It also includes a dedicated art gallery space and approximately 7,000 sq ft of open area suitable for trade fairs and festivals.
Enhancing the visitor experience, a fine-dining restaurant is proposed adjacent to the convention centre. This addition intends to create a comprehensive destination for art, events, and hospitality, further enriching the cultural offerings in Nagpur.
