3500 Drummers Unite for World Record in Nagpur

Reshimbagh Ground in Nagpur will resonate with the powerful beats of thousands of drums this Sunday during the 'Maha-Vadan,' the concluding event of Manthan4Yuva Nagpur 2026. Approximately 3,500 dhol-tasha artists from 55 troupes across Vidarbha are expected to perform together in a synchronized spectacle, aiming for a new world record.
This massive performance is anticipated to attract nearly 25,000 young attendees and will be graced by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The event marks the end of a month-long campaign by Jan Manthan, which engaged students and young professionals through various competitions and exhibitions.
The grand finale will also feature prominent figures from diverse fields, including cricketer Tilak Varma, chess player Divya Deshmukh, and podcaster Raj Shamani. Participants from sports, entrepreneurship, and arts, alongside winners of various contests held during the campaign, will be honored.
Organizers Vishnu Changde and Ritesh Gavande highlighted that the finale's purpose is to unite various youth segments—from technology and innovation to sports and traditional arts—on a single platform, with the dhol-tasha performance serving as its most impactful conclusion.
