Summary
- Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film NC24 sells overseas rights for 7 crore
- Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, written by Sukumar of Pushpa fame
- Marks a career-best overseas deal for Naga Chaitanya

As of October 29th, 2025, Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film NC24, also known as Vrusha Karma, has made headlines for its impressive overseas rights sale. The movie, which is the third directorial venture of Karthik Varma Dandu, has secured a whopping 7 crore deal for its international distribution rights.
This record-breaking overseas deal is a significant achievement for Chaitanya, as it surpasses his previous highest overseas sale. The film, which blends mythology, fantasy, and action drama, is written by Sukumar, the acclaimed director of the Pushpa franchise. Sukumar is also serving as a co-producer on the project.
While Sukumar's involvement has not yet generated the same level of hype as Pushpa 2: The Rule, the impressive overseas rights sale suggests that the makers are confident in the film's potential. Chaitanya's last theatrical release, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, failed to impress audiences, managing a worldwide gross collection of 88.72 crores.
However, the success of the overseas deal for NC24 sets high expectations for the film's release, which is currently in production. The movie is being made under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
