Naagzilla Shoot Wraps: Kartik Aaryan's Fantasy Film Complete

Principal photography for the upcoming fantasy entertainer 'Naagzilla' has officially wrapped. The final day of shooting took place on March 16, marking the end of a significant production phase. Lead actor Kartik Aaryan had completed his scenes prior to the final day. Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba oversaw the remaining shots with other cast members in Mumbai.

The film, a collaborative production between Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain's Mahaveer Jain Films, is slated for a cinematic release on Independence Day 2026. 'Naagzilla' features Kartik Aaryan in the lead role as a shape-shifting naag. Reports also suggest Ravi Kishan will portray the antagonist, and Preity Mukhundhan is set for her Bollywood debut in this project.

Earlier this year, a substantial schedule was completed in Mumbai during January 2026, followed by a three-week schedule in Delhi in February 2026. With filming now concluded, the focus shifts to the post-production phase, as director Lamba aims to transform the project into an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.

This project represents several key collaborations, including the first for Kartik Aaryan and Mahaveer Jain, Mahaveer Jain and Karan Johar, and the second for Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar following their previous film in 2025. The film is also noted for reuniting Kartik Aaryan with director Kabir Khan for a sports drama, although this is a separate project from 'Naagzilla'.
