The 90s dance group N-Trance has announced their return to the music scene with a new single titled 'Higher,' marking their first release in over two decades.
Original members Kevin O'Toole and Dale Longworth are part of the current lineup, which also features vocalists Rachael Chambers and Tricia McTeague, MC B, Jay McCurdy, and DJ Junior K. The group released the accompanying music video over the weekend.
Fans have warmly welcomed the band's comeback, with many expressing delight at the new track and its sound. Comments on YouTube indicate a strong nostalgic connection to N-Trance's past hits, particularly 'Set You Free.'
'Set You Free,' N-Trance's most successful single, was originally released in 1994, peaking at number 39. A re-release in 1995 propelled it to number two on the charts. A remixed version in 2001 also achieved success, reaching number four.
Kelly Llorenna, a former vocalist with the group, had significant success, including a cover of Rod Stewart's 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' which hit number seven. She also contributed to other N-Trance tracks and pursued a solo career before rejoining the group in the 2000s.
