As of October 3rd, 2025, the annual Dasara exhibition in Mysuru is in full swing, captivating crowds with its diverse offerings. The exhibition, which began on September 22nd and will run until December 22nd, is being held at the sprawling Doddakere maidan opposite the Mysuru Palace.
One of the major attractions this year is the new musical fountain, which has been drawing large numbers of visitors every evening. Thousands of families, tourists, and youngsters are thronging the venue to explore the exhibition's wide range of stalls and activities. In total, the event features 33 government stalls highlighting welfare schemes and public services, over 150 commercial stalls from across the country, 65 amusement stalls, and more than 50 food outlets serving regional and continental delicacies.
The colorful marketplace has become a melting pot of cultures, with visitors from across Karnataka and beyond arriving in large numbers. K Rudresh, the CEO of the Karnataka Exhibition Authority, describes the Dasara exhibition as one of the most anticipated highlights of the annual festivities, offering a "vibrant mix of cultural programmes, amusement rides, food stalls, shopping pavilions, and government stalls" that create a "wholesome experience for visitors."
