Mysuru Prepares for Vibrant Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations

As of October 13, 2025, the Mysuru district administration is making preparations for the upcoming Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations on November 1. The event will be held at the Oval Grounds in the city, with the state social welfare and district minister HC Mahadevappa scheduled to attend.
Prior to the main celebration, a procession will be taken out from the north gate of Mysuru Palace. The procession will feature folk troupes and a tableau showcasing the culture of the region. Before the procession, a puja will be offered to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari at the temple within the Mysuru Palace premises.
The Mysuru City Corporation has been directed to make necessary arrangements, including seating, shamiyana, platform, and other preparations for the event. The Kannada and culture department will oversee the participation of folk troupes in the procession and the main event. The Srikshetra Chamundeshwari Development Authority has been tasked with making breakfast arrangements for the students attending the celebrations.
