My Dearest Stranger, a popular Chinese drama that captivated audiences with over 260 million views on Youku, is now expanding its reach. The series has been sold to Catchplay for distribution in Taiwan and Indonesia, marking a significant international step for the production. Directed by Lin Yu-Hsien, the show stars Wang Luodan and Yuan Hong.
The drama centers on a housewife who uncovers a dark side to her husband, leading her to secretly aid the police. The narrative weaves a tale of deception, marital complexities, and the uncovering of hidden truths that challenge the perception of a perfect union.
In addition to the success of My Dearest Stranger, Hishow is also generating buzz for the action thriller feature film Mastermind. This film, starring Koo, Ci Sha, Simon Yam, and Tse Kwan-Ho, follows a detective framed for murder while trying to clear his name and expose a conspiracy.
