The recently released Tamil film 'Mustafa Mustafa,' directed by debutant Praveen Saravanan, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video as of April 17, 2026. This move follows its initial theatrical release on March 6, 2026.
The film, a blend of comedy and situational drama, stars Sathish and Suresh Ravi in lead roles, supported by Karunakaran, Monica Chinnakotla, and Maanasa Choudhary. The narrative follows Karthik, a TV anchor whose pre-wedding plans are jeopardized by the threat of a compromising video surfacing.
His friend Vasu, with the help of a hacker named Chitti, devises chaotic plans to control the situation and avoid consequences. Despite the premise promising a fun ride, the film received mixed to underwhelming responses during its theatrical run.
Critics pointed out that while the direction maintained a reasonable pace, the script revolved around a single idea without significant escalation or real stakes. The humor was described as operating within a narrow lane, focusing on Karthik's near-misses with exposure.
