Rollercoaster Crash: Six Teens Vie for Life in Musical Duel

A peculiar musical event unfolds as six high-school choristers, victims of a fatal rollercoaster crash, find themselves in a surreal space between life and death. Directed by Lizzi Gee, this eccentric show, originally a Canadian cult hit, centers on their competition to earn a second chance on Earth.

Guided by the enigmatic fortune teller, The Amazing Karnak, each chorister must present a condensed version of their life. Performances range from a queen bee's self-celebration and a boy's fantasy to a rebellious rap and a haunting aria from a decapitated singer. These individual narratives, while brief, offer glimpses into varied lives and unrealized potential.

While the repetitive structure limits deeper character exploration, the musical's unique premise and energetic performances celebrate life's value. This distinct show, with its distinctive spirit and thoughtful undertones, has garnered a dedicated following over the years.
