Crime Drama 'The Murder Line' Now Streaming on ITV

The crime drama series 'The Murder Line,' a six-part production, is now accessible for streaming on ITVX. Originally confirmed to air on ITV1 and later stream on the ITVX platform, the show boasts a notable cast. Stephen Amell, known for 'Arrow,' takes on the role of officer Henry 'Hank' Roland, who becomes entangled in a double murder case.

Roland attempts to distance himself from his past, but his new life is threatened when evidence points to his childhood friend, Tommy Hawley, played by Hamza Haq, as the perpetrator. This puts him at odds with border patrol officer Erica Ross, portrayed by Tamara Podemski. The narrative escalates as Roland's plan backfires, leading to a collision course with criminals and civilians needing his help.

Originally created by Graeme Stewart and known as 'The Borderline' in the US and Canada, the series was an original production for Canadian streamer Crave. Critics have noted its ability to handle disturbing subject matter with a light, playful tone, while audiences have found it provocative and comparable to top-tier thrillers. The show is praised for its gripping narrative and rich, multi-dimensional characters.
