Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17, is celebrating the arrival of his first child with his wife, Mehzabeen Faruqui. They have welcomed a baby girl into their family. Faruqui announced the happy news on social media on Friday, May 1st, sharing pictures of his wife and daughter without revealing their faces.

The couple, who previously kept their union private, married in May 2024. Faruqui's decision to marry was influenced by his desire to be a devoted father to his son, Mikael. Mehzabeen also has a 10-year-old daughter, and Faruqui described an immediate emotional connection with her, akin to finding a missing piece.

This marks a new chapter for the blended family, as both Munawar and Mehzabeen are parents to children from their previous relationships. Munawar was previously married and has a son named Mikael, while Mehzabeen has a daughter. Faruqui was last seen hosting 'Pati, Patni Aur Panga' alongside Sonali Bendre.
