Muhlenberg Township's annual Spring Fiesta transformed Jim Dietrich Park into a vibrant celebration of Latino culture this past Saturday, June 13, 2026. The daylong, free event drew residents and visitors with live music spanning Latin, salsa, and reggae genres, alongside over two dozen food vendors offering everything from traditional Mexican fare to other popular treats.
Families were a central focus, with a dedicated Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, giant bubbles, and piñatas. Community organizations also participated, with Living Word Fellowship Church sponsoring the children's area as part of their outreach efforts. Activities like a mechanical bull provided entertainment for adventurous attendees.
Now in its eighth year, the festival began as a food-truck event and has since expanded its scope. Recreation supervisor Kelly Gorski emphasized the event's goal of encouraging community members to spend time together and utilize the township's parks. The festival also serves as an opportunity for new residents to discover the community.
