As part of the rebranding, MSNBC will launch a substantial marketing campaign to introduce its new "MS NOW" identity to viewers. Primetime star Rachel Maddow is featured in one promotional ad, stating, "Same mission, new name."
The network's new parent company, Versant, is expected to fully launch on January 1, 2026, marking the completion of MSNBC's split from Comcast-owned NBCUniversal.
