Andy Serkis might have unintentionally leaked a significant casting detail for the upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday. While speaking with Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani, Serkis seemingly confirmed her appearance in the highly anticipated movie. Vellani, who voices characters in Serkis' new animated project Animal Farm, reacted with surprise when Serkis mentioned her involvement in Doomsday.
This potential casting represents the first confirmation of Vellani's presence in Avengers: Doomsday, as her name was absent from the extensive five-and-a-half-hour casting announcement made in March 2025. Vellani has previously appeared as Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, in live-action in 2023's The Marvels, and in the animated series Marvel Zombies.
Should Vellani be in Doomsday, she will join a star-studded ensemble cast. The film is slated for theatrical release on December 18th. In the meantime, Vellani and Serkis are promoting Animal Farm, a comedic adaptation of George Orwell's dystopian novel. Vellani lends her voice to two piglets, while Serkis voices the farm's owner and a boar.
