Mrunal Thakur: Ranveer Singh is my industry 'lucky charm'

Actress Mrunal Thakur has publicly credited fellow actor Ranveer Singh for playing a pivotal role in launching her career. During a recent podcast, Thakur referred to Singh as her "lucky charm," stating that her career in the industry would not have been possible without him.

She recalled a specific hair brand commercial they filmed together, which she believes caught the attention of filmmakers and initiated her acting journey. Thakur expressed gratitude for Singh's positive influence and wished him continued success.

Furthermore, Thakur praised Ranveer Singh's performance in the recently released Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film has achieved significant success, surpassing ₹1,000 crore at the box office. Thakur commended his portrayal of Hamza Ali Mazari, noting the character's depth and complexity, which made it more than just a heroic role.

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, follows an Indian spy in the underworld combating a terror network. The sequel focuses on Hamza's origins. The film also features prominent actors like R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt.

Mrunal Thakur is currently preparing for her upcoming film Dacoit, scheduled for release on April 10.
