The Tollywood film 'Mowgli' experienced a rescheduling of its release date, directly impacted by the postponement of 'Akhanda 2' due to financial complications. This disruption affected multiple smaller and mid-sized film projects.
Director Sandeep Raj shared his experience of initial excitement turning into considerable distress. He revealed that the sudden shift of the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer 'Akhanda 2' significantly altered his movie's strategic release plans, causing him a great deal of disturbance.
After a five-year absence from directing, Raj invested two years and significant effort into 'Mowgli', now slated for release on December 13th. Despite suggestions for later dates, he chose the new date to avoid competition with other major releases, expressing strong belief in his project.
