Country music star Morgan Wallen is facing scrutiny following an incident at his "Still the Problem" tour stop in Pittsburgh on June 5. During his performance at Acrisure Stadium, Wallen was observed on video snatching a mobile phone from a security guard who was recording the show. Wallen then proceeded to throw the device across the stage.
Following this event, Wallen canceled his scheduled June 6 performance in Pittsburgh. He explained the cancellation was due to severe weather, specifically strong winds that local officials deemed a potential safety hazard for the large stage. Wallen used his Instagram Stories to address what he termed "nonsense" rumors, clarifying the reason for canceling the show.
This past event is not the only recent stir for the 33-year-old artist. During a previous performance in Denver, Wallen experienced a piano malfunction and resorted to finishing his song a cappella. He then demonstratively pushed and flipped the broken instrument on stage.
Morgan Wallen’s latest album, "I'm the Problem," achieved significant success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with a record-breaking streaming week for a country album. Additionally, his 2024 track "I Had Some Help," featuring Post Malone, reached the top of the Hot 100 chart.
