Morgan Freeman Rages Against AI Actress Tilly Norwood: "She's Not Real"
13 Nov
Summary
- Freeman unhappy with AI programs cloning his voice without consent
- Threatens legal action against "many" of his imitators
- Slams AI actress Tilly Norwood as "not real" and taking jobs from real actors

In a recent interview, renowned actor Morgan Freeman expressed his outrage over the unauthorized use of his distinctive voice in AI programs. The Shawshank Redemption star made it clear that he is not pleased with these AI imitations, stating, "I'm a little PO'd, you know. I'm like any other actor: Don't mimic me with falseness. I don't appreciate it, and I get paid for doing stuff like that, so if you're gonna do it without me, you're robbing me."
Freeman revealed that his legal team has already begun pursuing litigation against "many" of his imitators, determined to protect his voice and the income it generates. The acclaimed actor also took aim at the AI actress Tilly Norwood, who has recently gained attention in the industry. Freeman bluntly stated, "Nobody likes her because she's not real and that takes the part of a real person, so it's not going to work out very well in the movies or in television."
The union SAG-AFTRA has also condemned the existence of AI performers like Norwood, arguing that they have "no life experience to draw from, no emotion and, from what we've seen, audiences aren't interested in watching computer-generated content untethered from the human experience."
As the debate over the role of AI in the entertainment industry continues, it's clear that Morgan Freeman is determined to protect his legacy and the value of his iconic voice, even if it means taking legal action against those who seek to exploit it without his consent.
