Mo'Nique referenced Goldberg's past comments where she stated she could have "schooled" Mo'Nique on contractual obligations concerning the film "Precious." The actress expressed confusion, recalling her defense that her only contractual duty was to producer Lee Daniels. Mo'Nique also questioned if Goldberg's stance was influenced by relationships with Oprah Winfrey or producer Tyler Perry.

Further, Mo'Nique criticized Tyler Perry for not publicly retracting statements she claims deemed her difficult to work with. She contrasted this with her own decision to refuse what she described as an "act of slavery." Mo'Nique concluded by asking Goldberg if she was willing to stand up for what is right, even if it meant going against popular opinion.
