Mohanlal to Star in Cop Drama 'L 365', Shooting Begins in December

In a major development for Malayalam cinema, superstar Mohanlal is gearing up to play a police officer in the upcoming film 'L 365'. The production for the movie is scheduled to commence on December 5th, 2025, marking the directorial debut of Austin Dan Thomas.

The film is set to showcase the picturesque town of Thodupuzha, with brief schedules also planned in Mumbai and Sabarimala. Mohanlal's fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the cop genre after a gap. The script for 'L 365' has been penned by Ratheesh Ravi, and the music will be composed by the talented duo of 'Lokah' and 'Thudarum', Jakes Bejoy.

Alongside this new venture, the legendary actor is also busy with several other high-profile projects. These include the multilingual period drama 'Vrusshabha', which is slated for release on November 6th, 2025, as well as the much-anticipated 'Drishyam 3' with director Jeethu Joseph. Mohanlal is also a part of the star-studded film 'Patriot', directed by Mahesh Narayanan and co-starring Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Nayanthara.
