Cinderella Sings Jazz in NYC!

A contemporary reimagining of the classic Cinderella story unfolds in the energetic Jazz Age of New York. Titled 'Ella,' this modern fairy tale follows a protagonist who, after the death of her father, is left with nothing but her exceptional singing talent.

This evocative narrative is presented by Helena Bonham Carter, who reads Katherine Rundell's adaptation. The series, which features fairy tales reinvented by prominent writers, was specially commissioned to coincide with a significant new exhibition at The British Library focused on fairy tales, also supporting the National Year of Reading initiative.
