Dancer Miyu Signs Historic CAA Deal

Dancer Miyu has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Japanese dancer to sign with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). This significant move, finalized in September 2025, broadens her artistic horizons and fuels her vision for dancers' global recognition.

Miyu's journey began with her 2017 victory in the house division of JUSTE DEBOUT, the world's premier street dance competition. Despite this early success, she observed a disparity in how dancers were perceived and valued internationally compared to Japan.

This observation, coupled with a transformative collaboration with artist Bruno Mars for a 2024 commercial, inspired Miyu to actively pursue greater recognition for dancers. She aspires to create a world where dancers are viewed as artists, on par with singers and actors.

Her motto, "Make the impossible possible," reflects her belief in overcoming perceived limitations. Miyu encourages aspiring artists to take bold first steps, even when facing uncertainty, emphasizing that courage and action are key to realizing dreams abroad.
