Jackie Shroff has revisited cherished memories from the 2000 action drama 'Mission Kashmir,' sharing a video montage on the film's 26th anniversary. The movie, released on October 27, 2000, featured a prominent cast including Sanjay Dutt as a police officer, Hrithik Roshan in a lead role, and Preity Zinta. The narrative centers on Altaaf, a young man whose life is shattered by a police operation that kills his family, after which he is adopted by the very officer responsible.
The film is also celebrated for its exceptional music, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Hit songs like 'Bumbro,' 'Rind Posh Maal,' and 'Chupke Se Sun' became popular, with 'Bumbro' particularly noted for its distinct Kashmiri folk influences. Interestingly, Anurag Kashyap was initially involved in the project but departed before its completion. The music composers themselves made a unique on-screen appearance in the song 'Rind Posh Maal.'
