Mirzapur Duo Reunites for New Amazon Series

Actors Abhishek Banerjee and Divyenndu are set to star together again in a new web series for Amazon Prime Video. Following their notable performances in the Mirzapur franchise, the duo will explore new characters in an 'Empire' style drama.

While specific plot points and character details remain under wraps, the project is expected to present Banerjee and Divyenndu in a setting distinct from the gangster world that made them famous. Abhishek Banerjee is slated to headline this new Endemol-backed series, with Divyenndu also taking on a significant role.

This reunion generates significant interest, as it marks another collaboration after their recent shared screen time in Mirzapur: The Movie. The makers are reportedly crafting a large-scale world and a storyline designed to showcase a different facet of both performers' acting abilities.

Further information regarding the series' setting, period, character arcs, and release timeline is anticipated. In the interim, Abhishek Banerjee has multiple projects in the pipeline, including a Tamil debut and an action drama. Divyenndu is also committed to an upcoming period film and a sequel.

The new drama aims to bring Abhishek Banerjee and Divyenndu together in a fresh narrative, moving beyond the gangster dynamics associated with their Mirzapur characters. Audiences await more details about this upcoming Amazon Prime Video series.
